I basically just ranted all of this really quick because I have to leave soon. But I want to make it clear because I’m tired of Christians being taught that they are powerless and helpless, and aren’t capable of managing their sin or depression or whatever else. All of that, I don’t care who it comes from, is a lie. If it comes from your favorite pastor, or mine, it’s still a lie. If that pastor is your dad, it’s a lie. If that pastor is you, it’s still a lie. I’m not calling them liars, I’m saying that they were taught a lie, believed it, and are teaching it. Hear this Truth and be free!

You are not powerless or helpless against anything. You have ALL power and ALL authority because Jesus gave it to you (Luke 10:19, Matt. 28:18). This is what Christians need to be taught so they can live as constant victors, not constant victims.

I spent 6 years (the majority) of my Christian life as a victim, thinking I was stuck in depression and sin and had to beg God to do everything and fight every battle for me, therefore missing everything He already did for me and gave to me. I already have everything needed to win (2 Peter 1:3); to always live from victory, not always be searching for it and begging God for it.

Jesus already won, I’m in Him, so I always win. He said, “You WILL have trouble in this world.” (John 16:33) that’s a promise. Most Christians stop there and get sad because they aren’t taught the rest of the statement. He went on to say, “Take heart! I have overcome the world!” Why should you be excited and happy because HE has overcome? Because you are one spirit with Him (1 Corinthians 6:17)! If He has overcome the world, so have you.

It’s not a future tense thing, He didn’t say, “Take heart, someday I will overcome the world!” He said He already has. If He already has overcome all the trouble in the world, so have I.

The problem is that the devil likes to get us to think from a now perspective and make us think we are still trying to win. No, I already won, and when the devil comes, I don’t beg God for victory, I use the power and authority that He gave me to enforce the victory I already have in Christ. I don’t ask God to fix my problems, I speak to the problem and tell them to move, and they listen because I speak as God to the problem (2 Corinthians 5:20).

And in case you’re wondering, or in case your religion is being stirred up; Yes, I am very much boasting right now. Not in anything I have done, but in everything He has.

I ALWAYS WIN, I NEVER LOSE (2 Cor. 2:14).

I’m not helpless, I’m full of power.

I’m not a victim, I’m a victor.

I don’t look for victory, I live from it.

I don’t ask God to fight my battles, He gave me power and authority and told me to trample on the devil (Luke 10:19).

Many people will distort this and say, “So you’re saying you don’t need God?”

No. I’m saying I already have Him. He lives in me, He goes where I go. I’m not powerless against sickness, diseases, depression, stress, worry, or any of that other garbage. I am victorious every time. I always win. My nature is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22). Because those are the fruits of the Spirit who lives in me, who is also one Spirit with me.

Does any of this mean you will never face opposition or get into battles? No. I’m not saying that. Jesus promised you trouble. But I am saying that you will always win if you use what God gave you and stop believing the lie from hell that you are lacking and you need more before you are capable; a better anointing, or a better gift before you can overcome. You have the greatest anointing, that is the Anointed One who lives in you and will never leave you (Gal. 4:6, 1 John 2:27). You have the greatest gift, that is the Holy Spirit who lives in you, who contains every gift. You always win! (2 Corinthians 2:14).

I love you guys! Hear this and be free!

  • I enjoyed reading this, and I agree with you. We do have the victory In Christ. However troubles will come, as you pointed out, persecutions will come, sickness will come, etc. but in the midst of all these things, we can still have the fruit of the Spirit, because of Him who lives in us. That is why a bleiever can pray and sing, while being martyred, that is why Paul praised the Lord while being beaten, shipwrecked, stoned etc. , that is why Job did not curse God and died. In all these things they remained victorious, because they let Christ live in and through them. Indeed, sin no longer has power over us, because He overcame, and if we let Him live through us, we will over come as well.
    God bless you

I am battling/driving out the enemy that has been attacking my life in the form of seizures for the last 30 years. What you have written is the exact revelation God just gave me these past few days. We are more than conquerors and must spend our time taking back our land and learning how to possess it. God will drive out the nations before us!! We have the power of God through Christ available and God wants us to use it to destroy the works of the devil. Thanks brother!!!

Thanks for the article…I also read the other one about how to overcome sin…I really appreciate in your articles the many scripture references. You seem to make it a point to include the scripture reference right there with the points you are making, and it is also helpful to be able to scroll over the link and see the full scripture right there…it helps to here the principle-Truth and then see the full scripture cited next to it…thanks much and God bless you

Rapture, Purpose, and the work of Jesus

I stopped believing in the rapture once I realized that Jesus never made a big deal about us going up to heaven, He always talked about heaven coming down to us. The original purpose of God putting man on Earth wasn’t for man to be taken off of the Earth some years later, it was [...]
